5. International transfers of personal information

The personal information we collect is stored and processed in UAE, or where we or our partners, affiliates and third-party providers maintain facilities. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the disclosure to these overseas third parties.

We will ensure that any transfer of personal information from countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA will be protected by appropriate safeguards, for example by using standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission, or the use of binding corporate rules or other legally accepted means.

Where we transfer personal information from a non-EEA country to another country, you acknowledge that third parties in other jurisdictions may not be subject to similar data protection laws to the ones in our jurisdiction. There are risks if any such third party engages in any act or practice that would contravene the data privacy laws in our jurisdiction and this might mean that you will not be able to seek redress under our jurisdiction’s privacy laws.

You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect your use of this website or the products and/or services offered on or through it.

  1. Cookies

We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our site. A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site. This helps us serve you content based on preferences you have specified. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more information.

  2. Business transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any parties who acquire us may continue to use your personal information according to this policy.

  3. Limits of our policy

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

  4. Changes to this policy

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our website. Your continued use of this site after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.

If we make a significant change to this privacy policy, for example changing a lawful basis on which we process your personal information, we will ask you to re-consent to the amended privacy policy.

  5. Browser Extension ("AdPlexity Ad Library Saver")

This section applies to the AdPlexity browser extension for Google Chrome (the "Extension"). The Extension is part of the Service and this Privacy Policy applies to it in full, except where this section states otherwise. This section describes the additional processing specific to the Extension.

    What the Extension does.

The Extension adds controls to the public Meta Ad Library (facebook.com/ads/library) that let you save ads, their advertiser pages and landing-page domains to boards in your AdPlexity account, download ad creatives, and export selected ads as a file. It runs only on Ad Library pages and does not operate on any other website.

    Authentication information.

To use the Extension you sign in with your AdPlexity username or email address and password. These are sent once, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, to app.adplexity.io in exchange for an access token. Your password is not stored by the Extension. The access token is stored in the browser's extension storage on your device and is deleted when you sign out. Your email address is used only as an identifier for your account.

    Website content we collect.

When you save, download or export an ad, the Extension reads the following from the Ad Library page you are viewing: the ad's Library ID, primary text and headline, creative image or video address, advertiser page name and ID, landing-page URL, active or inactive status and start date. This is public advertising data published by Meta. This data is read only for the ads you explicitly act on, not for every ad you see.

    What stays on your device.

Saved ad text, creative addresses, advertiser and domain details, and your board contents are stored in the browser's extension storage on your device so the Extension works offline and loads quickly. Downloads and exports are written to your computer through the browser's download function and are not uploaded to us.

    What is sent to AdPlexity.

To keep your boards in sync with your AdPlexity account, the Extension periodically sends to app.adplexity.io your board names and folder structure, and the identifiers of the items you saved (Ad Library IDs, advertiser page IDs and landing-page domain names) so that they can be matched to records already in the AdPlexity database. Ad text and creatives are not uploaded by the Extension. This data is processed under the same terms, purposes, retention and safeguards as the rest of your AdPlexity account data described in this Policy, subject to the "Limited use" paragraph below.

    What we do not collect.

The Extension does not collect your browsing history, the content of other websites, your Meta or Facebook account details or cookies, keystrokes, or any personal information about you beyond your AdPlexity sign-in. It does not include analytics or advertising trackers.

Third-party services used by the Extension.

Ad creatives are downloaded directly from Meta's content servers (*.fbcdn.net) when you request them, and those requests are subject to Meta's privacy policy.

    Limited use.

Data collected by the Extension is used only to provide and improve the saving, board-sync, download and export features described here. We do not sell it. We do not use or transfer it for advertising purposes, including personalised advertising, and we do not share it with ad networks, analytics providers or marketing or advertising providers, notwithstanding the categories of recipient listed in the "Disclosure of personal information to third parties" section above. We do not use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. No person reads this data except where it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where you have given us your consent to do so.

    Your choices.

Signing out removes the access token from your device. Deleting a board or item in the Extension or the web app removes it from your account. Removing the Extension from Chrome deletes all data it stored on your device. You can exercise the rights described in the "Your rights and controlling your personal information" section of this Policy for data held in your AdPlexity account.

    Meta.

The Extension is an independent product of SCALE YOUR ADS - FZCO and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.
